Terms of Service
Effective August 18, 2026 · Version 1.0
Using Meals on Deck
By creating an account or using Meals on Deck, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the service.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and activity performed through your account. Do not share passwords or attempt to access another person’s account without permission.
Households and permissions
Meals on Deck allows users to join shared households. Household owners may invite or remove members, transfer ownership, and control what household members are allowed to change. Household members should only modify shared information when they have permission to do so.
Your content
You retain ownership of recipes, photos, text, and other content you submit. You give Meals on Deck permission to store, process, display, resize, transmit, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate the service and share it with your household according to the app’s features.
Imported and third-party content
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to save, upload, or share content you bring into Meals on Deck. Recipe import tools are provided for convenience and may not always extract information accurately. Third-party websites remain subject to their own terms and policies.
Acceptable use
Do not use Meals on Deck to break the law, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious material, abuse other users, or submit content you do not have the right to use.
Food, nutrition, and allergy disclaimer
Meals on Deck is a planning and organization tool, not medical, nutritional, allergy, or food-safety advice. Recipes and imported information may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for verifying ingredients, allergens, dietary requirements, cooking temperatures, food handling, and whether a meal is appropriate for you or your household.
Availability and changes
We may change, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features as Meals on Deck develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Account suspension or termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or prevent abuse of the service. You may stop using Meals on Deck and use available account-deletion controls at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Meals on Deck and K&R Designs are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the service, reliance on recipe information, data loss, service interruption, or third-party content.

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above will identify the current version.
